Dear Friend,

Welcome to Paris Major Limousine' s September gazette,

After the heat, do some gardening :

In the Park of St Cloud (a couple of miles away from the ring road, discover some beautiful oldies, superb cars from all over the world, a little like a French version of the Pebble Beach show. (September 6th and 7th).
One of the most magnificent gardens in the Loire Valley is Villandry, Symbolic, rustic, medicinal, picturesque and less than a 3 hour drive from Paris in the back of a roomy Mercedes.

I have always considered a visit to the Clos Luce where Leonardo da Vinci spent his last years in Amboise (a few miles from Villandry) as a must. Now the models are not only visible in the Chateau but also in the 14 acre park. Da Vinci's genius was such that 5 centuries later kids and adults are still amazed discovering his works.
Learning to ride, but lacking in confidence? Try The Natural Horse Partnership method, and take a drive to Haras de la Cense in Rochefort en Yvelines on the last weekend of September. Infos on www.harasdelacense.com. Pat Parelli will be there and plenty of his friends from the US and Europe.

For unique, one of a kind fashions, try one of the Loro Piana shops on Montaigne or St Honoré, they have some incredible wools from baby cashmere from Mongolia, vicuna from South America or merinos from Australia.

Brunch on Saturday and Sunday at Market on Avenue Matignon from 12 to 18 pm: Jean-Georges Vongerichten's latest Parisian venture is a must.

Thirsty? make a stop at Lavinia. 3000 different French wines, 2500 others from 43 different countries, 1000 spirits. They are equipped with chillers to help you to take your favorite tipple away and enjoy it where you please. And guess what, the vendors-sommeliers speak English, Japanese, and Spanish (as well as French!). The local white collars are a regular clientele to their restaurant. (Bd of Madeleine).

Something for the eyes : FIAC, Foire Internationale d' Art Contemporain, starting 09th Oct. till 13th, Gauguin and Tahiti : Oct 2nd January 19th, l' Algérie des Peintres de Delacroix a Renoir Something for the ears : Maurice Jarre Palais des Congrès (Nov 24th) Tel 0140 68 00 05.

Something for the eyes and the ears : Le Nozze di Figaro in the Parc of Vaux le Vicomte on the 11th 12th, 13th and 14th of September at 21.00, should be superb ! Santana in Bercy on Sept 12th (tel : 0825 030 031), Nouveau Festival de Danse de Paris at the Theatre du Chatelet October 2003 (tel 01 40 28 40 40).
Techno Parade on Sept.13th. Something for a good smile : Cocteau at the Pompidou, opening September 24th, closing January 5th.

Looking forward to drive you, your friends and your clients to these places and others, we remain, At your service.
